AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police are asking the public to view surveillance video closely which shows a suspect shooting his gun at people on Sixth Street and San Jacinto on a night in late July -- and identify him if anyone recognizes him.
The incident happened in front of the Thirsty Nickel and the Blind Pig Pub at 2:26 a.m. on Sunday, July 22, located at 325 E. 6th St.
Austin Police Department says a Hispanic man was pushed to the ground in a fight. He allegedly pulled out a gun and fired a single shot that struck four people. They all suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect's image was caught on surveillance video running alone through the alley behind the Alamo Drafthouse, eastbound away from the crime scene.
He is described as:
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with red writing, a black tank top underneath it, and blue jeans with black shoes.
The crime is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this man is asked to call Detective Stanley at 512-974-6873.
