AUSTIN (KXAN) - A Silver Alert for a 74-year-old man has been canceled after he was found safe and sound.

Police are returning Frank Haberkorn to his home Thursday morning after he went missing in the early morning hours near the Riata apartments off Riata Trace Drive.

Because Haberkorn has Alzheimer's, police reached out to the public for help in finding him.
