AUSTIN (KXAN) -
Austin police said Monday that they interviewed one of the two men in the video of an assault on Sixth Street this month that led to the death of Austin architect Matt Casey.

No charges were filed, and police gave no details of what the man told them

Police said Casey, 35, was assaulted leaving a bar on Labor Day weekend at the corner of Sixth Street and Neches Street. Casey died from his injuries last week.

The surveillance video of the attack has helped police identify the man investigators say were involved.

Casey owned his own architecture firm in Austin, Casey Design. Friends and colleagues say he was a renowned and respected architect.

APD asks the public to contact them if anyone recognizes the pair in the attached videos.

Anyone who has information about this incident, is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at 512-477-3588 or Crimestoppers at 512-472-TIPS or text "Tip 103" plus the message to CRIMES.
