Police: 6-year-old shot in abdomen

HENLY, Texas (KXAN) - A 6-year-old boy is in the hospital this Sunday after being shot with what emergency medical services personnel believe was a pellet gun in Henley, Texas.

Officials with Travis County EMS said the boy was transported via STARFlight shortly before 3:30 p.m. to an area hospital.

EMS crews said Henly Fire Department responded and called EMS after getting to the location where the boy was shot in the abdomen.

The 6-year-old is listed in stable condition.
