AUSTIN (KXAN) - Police responded to calls of a robbery shooting outside of a home early Tuesday morning in Northeast Austin, where the armed robber wore a mask.
The call to police came in at 5:33 a.m. when a 25-year-old man, the person who lived at the home, was shot in a robbery in the 7000 block of Dubuque Lane. Two people were home when the shooting happened.
Warren Hassinger with Austin-Travis County EMS said the condition of the man who was shot is serious due to where he was shot. However, police said the injury -- from a bullet graze -- is not life-threatening.
Police are looking for the armed robbery suspect, and it is unknown if that person is a man or a woman.
