PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) - On Friday, the city of Pflugerville lifted the boil water notice that was issued on Monday.
The chlorine levels are now at required levels and water is safe to drink, according to city spokeswoman Terri Waggoner.
On Monday, parts of Pflugerville were told to boil the water used for drinking and food preparation after a routine check showed levels of chlorine below state standards.
The boil-water notice affected the Enclave, Pflugerville Heights and Spring Trails portions of the Springbrook subdivision
The city of Pflugerville notified Manville Water Supply Corp. of the issue and chlorine was being added to the supply.
The cause was attributed to a chlorine leak at a Manville well.
