AUSTIN (KXAN) - A pair of accidents within minutes of each other, on the same street in East Austin, sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries.
The first call came in around 2:20 p.m. for an accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at Cesar Chavez and Chicon Street.
The second accident happened a mile to the east at 2:38 p.m. when a motorcyclist collided with another vehicle at Cesar Chavez and Tillery Street.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the motorcyclist has multiple long bone fractures and was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge.
