AUSTIN (KXAN) - Over the next two months, Austin police will be patrolling in the LBJ and Colony Park neighborhoods to make sure City ordinance and code violations aren’t being broken.

Representatives will be looking for abandoned/junk vehicles and parking violations on the street.

The district representatives will be back in the next few weeks in an effort to get residents to gain compliance. If residents don’t comply by April, citations will be given instead of warnings.

In the two weeks that the district representatives have been out in the LBJ Neighborhood, they have made verbal contact with 13 people and given out 34 warnings.
