AUSTIN (KXAN) - The countdown clock has begun, with less than one month until drivers, pit crews and fans converge at the new Circuit of The Americas track east of Austin.
NASCAR champ Tony Stewart is well aware of the culture of Austin, and he's coaching Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton on how to prepare for racing in the Lone Star state.
In a soon-to-be-released Mobil 1 video, Stewart presents Hamilton with proper attire for Austin, as Hamilton looks on with disbelief. It's a comical scene, and part of Mobil 1's focus on its involvement with NASCAR and F1. The company's high-performance oils are used in both sports, and Mobil 1 is a major sponsor of the Austin Fan Fest.
A Mobil 1 traveling interactive show will be in Austin a week before the U.S. Grand Prix F1 race to showcase F1 technology and how it works.
