AUSTIN (KXAN) - Thousands of Formula One U.S. Grand Prix fans will descend on Austin this weekend for the first F1 race held in the country in five years.

But unlike other sporting events in the capital city, F1 brings with it a certain crowd -- including some extremely wealthy fans from around the world.

Planners like My Yacht party planner Nicholas Frankl help the so-called caviar-and- Dom-Perignon crowd out in a town like Austin, known more for its cold beers than champagne.

Frankl talks about special VIP ticket packages to the race for those high-end clients and what sorts of perks they get.

And his work goes outside of the Circuit of The Americas , with the F1 club downtown -- where tables cost at least $2,950 and individual passes cost $300 per person.

The My Yacht F1 Club happens Friday night through Sunday at Ballet Austin on West Third Street.
