Motorcyclist rushed to hospital

Accident happened in South Travis County

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital via STARFlight Wednesday afternoon after he got into an accident with a vehicle.

Travis County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. at Frate Barker and Manchaca Road.

Austin Travis County EMS said the motorcyclist is in his 30s and wasn't wearing a helmet.

He was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge with life-threatening injuries.

It is not known which driver was at fault at this time.
