The blaze broke out early Friday morning at 6901 Cherrydale Drive. That's near William Cannon Drive and Manchaca Road.
One person was hospitalized for smoke inhalation.
Fire crews said no one was inside the home when they got there, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Investigators interviewed two of the people who lived inside the home, but no one was taken into custody.
Damage estimates stand at $120,000 for the home and $8,000 for personal belongings.
Fire crews throughout the city have been busy fighting another blaze in Oak Hill, where three different agencies responded.
In addition to the Oak Hill Fire Department, trucks from the Austin Fire Department and Lake Travis Fire Rescue were also on hand at Circle Drive and Rockwood Circle. That's near the "Y" at Oak Hill.
