AUSTIN (KXAN) - A special group of moms are helping local families find kid-friendly events during South by Southwest.
The moms write the well-known local blogs called Growing up Austin , Free Fun in Austin and Live Mom.
Austin's most popular long-running festival, they said, can be overwhelming for parents. It often coincides with school's spring break. And that's why they wanted to select the best events for families.
"What we've done is gone through the schedule and kind of curated all of the best ones that are going to be for your kids so don't get intimidated by all that there is out there just pick or two things," mom Carol Ramsey said.
The South by Southwest Festival, with its interactive, music and film components, kicks off on March 9.
