AUSTIN (KXAN) - Two people, including a child, were injured after they told police a man came up to them and punched them.

According to arrest warrant affidavits, the first victim was shopping with her young daughter when 20-year-old Joe Angel Aguilar came up and punched her in the face.

According to the document, the woman did not know Aguilar and said he did not say a word but just laughed after the assault.

The second victim, an 8-year-old boy, was looking through candy in the store when Aguilar came up and punched him in the face.

The victim's sister says she witnessed Aguilar just punch her brother in the face and walk away without saying a word.

Aguilar was arrested outside of the store and has been charged with Injury to a child, a third degree felony. Aguilar was held on $20,000 bond.
