AUSTIN (KXAN) - A love triangle ends with the deadly shooting of one man and authorities are still looking for the alleged shooter.
According to an arrest warrant, Roy Rogers Soliz, 58, entered the Auto and Finance at 1524 West Howard Lane just off Interstate 35 just before 9 a.m. on Monday and shot 38-year-old Christopher Carson.
Carson was taken to a Round Rock hospital but he died a short time later.
According to court documents, the victim was dropping off his girlfriend, Ms. Soliz off at work when Roy Soliz showed up to the business.
Ms. Soliz told detectives that before Roy Soliz started shooting, he said: "I told you I was going to do this." Then he proceeded to shoot Carson numerous times with a handgun.
Ms. Soliz told detectives that her and Roy were separated and she was currently dating Carson.
Investigators said the store's surveillance cameras captured a man running along the fence line behind the store where the shooting happened. He then drove away in a white car.
Authorities are still looking for Roy Soliz, he is wanted on a murder warrant.
