Brentwood neighborhood had some concerns

AUSTIN (KXAN) - After a rough start , the Brentwood neighborhood and the owner of Little Woodrow's have finally come to an agreement regarding the new location on Burnet Road.

On Thursday, the Austin City Council approved the zoning changes that will now allow Little Woodrow's to call 5425 Burnet Road its new home.

Councilmember Sheryl Cole's office worked with the residents and developer to come to a compromise between the parties.

Some residents were worried that the parking lot would be too small to handle the crowd the bar would see on a regular basis.

But they're working on addressing some of those issues. The business will have to designate parking for employees and turn Clay Street into a one-way section near the building.

The bar and restaurant will also have to close by midnight Sunday through Wednesday, 1 a.m. on Thursday, and 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
