AUSTIN (KXAN) – There will be lane closures on Medical Parkway near 42nd Street for the next six to eight weeks for the final stages of the Rosedale Storm Drain Improvements project.
During these weeks, one lane will be detoured and one lane will remain open. On weekdays, the closure will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To expedite completion of the work, there may also be some weekend work, when a lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The initial closure will be on the southbound lane, beginning Monday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Northbound traffic will be detoured.
This work is necessary for the Rosedale Storm Drain Improvements project, which will relieve localized flooding in the Rosedale Neighborhood.
