I-35 lower deck southbound reopens
Crash leaves highway closed over an hour

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Around 3:15 p.m. Sunday, all southbound lanes of Interstate 35 on the lower deck were closed following a crash near 40th Street.
No serious injuries were reported in the accident. Police were able to reopen the road before 5 p.m. after clearing the roadway.
The upper deck was able to remain open, but the closure still led to some big back-ups.
