AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Austin Humane Society is calling all rabbit lovers.

Earlier this month, 57 animals were rescued from a hoarding situation, 10 rabbits are available for adoption.

Lisa Starr was in the KXAN studio Saturday morning with Pickles, one of the rabbits ready for a new home.

Starr offered up some rabbit facts including: they can be trained to use a litter box, come when called, and can grow to weigh up to 20 pounds.

The humane society is also offering a Valentine’s Day deal for adoptions.

Anyone interested in taking in a new pet will only have to pay $14 on Tuesday.

You can visit the ASPCA website or drop by their offices on West Anderson Lane for more information about adopting.
