AUSTIN (KXAN) - The HOPE farmers market is the longest operating Sunday market in Austin, and this weekend it's planning a big move.

The market works to bring the community together to support farmers and small businesses, increase access to healthy food, and celebrate local culture in East Austin.

HOPE Farmers Market hosts a family of farmers, food artisans and artists from all around Central Texas.

The idea is to invite the community to come together in supporting a growing local food system and celebrating East Austin culture through live music and educational programming.

See an interview about the market and it's move to Plaza Saltillo Station by clicking on the video above.
