AUSTIN (KXAN) - A motorcyclist led officers on a high-speed chase on State Highway 130 on Tuesday afternoon.

A Williamson County Sheriff's Office deputy originally spotted the speeding motorcyclist around 4:10 p.m. on SH 130 near Hutto. When the deputy tried to pull the motorcyclist over, the motorcyclist acted like he was going to stop but ended up taking off and led authorities on the chase.

Authorities said during the chase the motorcyclist hit speeds up to 120 mph.

The Department of Public Safety, as well as Travis County Sheriff's Office and Austin Police Department, helped in the chase.

The motorcyclist sped down on the toll road and exited at Farm to Market 969. DPS officials said the suspect went westbound on FM 969 for approximately one mile when he crashed at a curb near Imperial Drive.

The suspect was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge with unknown injuries.
