AUSTIN (KXAN) - Plenty of low-level moisture and calm winds led to a foggy Friday morning.
The National Weather Service issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the Interstate 35 corridor to the east. That advisory is in effect until 10 a.m.
Travelers could see visibilities of less than one mile until the fog lifts midmorning.
As the fog dissipates and clouds clear, temperatures will climb rapidly during the afternoon.
Central Texas could see highs as much as 20 degrees warmer than normal. Normal is 62 degrees for this time of year.
Temperatures will near record high temperatures. The record high for Austin at Camp Mabry is 83 degrees.
A series of cold fronts will traverse Texas in the next week, allowing for a temperature rollercoaster.
