Four Tarrytown homes burglarized

Cars also robbed in same area

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Four homes in Tarrytown were burglarized in the course of one week and three of the victims were in the homes at the time, according to Austin Police Department.

The crimes took place between midnight and 2 a.m., police said.

In addition, a number of vehicle burglaries occurred near Greenlee Drive, just west of Exposition Boulevard. Police do not know if the home and vehicle burglaries are related.

In one case, one victim reported a male running through her backyard at about 11:30 p.m. He wore a dark blue or black baggie, jersey-style shirt.

The homes that were burglarized are located in the:

  • 2300 block of West Ninth St -- on Aug. 9
  • 2100 block of Forest Trail -- on Aug. 12
  • 2700 block of Greenlee Drive -- on Aug. 13
  • 2800 block of Greenlee Drive -- on Aug. 15
