'First Thursday' now the third Thursday

AUSTIN (KXAN) - With so many Formula One U.S. Grand Prix guests in Austin for the racing weekend, merchants along South Congress Avenue are recreating their "First Thursday" event with a Third Thursday.
The popular block party festivities have been going on for 10 years, always drawing a crowd.
True Taste of Austin will offer visitors the special treats known in the city. There are discounts and specials at South Congress bars and restaurants.
Merchants generally stay open a little later, up to 10 p.m., to handle the crowds, who will find plenty of fun from Academy Drive to Mary Street.
