AUSTIN (KXAN) - An accidental fire in Northwest Austin left six people without a home Monday morning, and investigators are looking for the cause of the blaze.
Investigators said the electrical fire caused $200,000 in damage to the building and an estimated $40,000 to belongings.
When they arrived, Austin fire crews noticed heavy fire coming from a duplex on Sawtooth Lane near Anderson Mill and U.S. Highway 183.
Firefighters knocked it down quickly, and everyone made it out safely.
The Red Cross is helping the six people now without a home.
