AUSTIN (KXAN) - Planner Ricardo Soliz was in studio on Sunday morning to talk about the master plan for the 90-acre Festival Beach area on the shores of Lady Bird Lake.

This is the Holly Shores/Edward Rendon Sr. Park area, all part of the Festival Beach Master Plan. A conceptual design will be unveiled at a community meeting at Metz Elementary, 84 Robert Martinez Jr. St, at 6 p.m. The drawings to be presented are preliminary park concepts.

“The presentation of these preliminary concepts is the next important step in the master plan process,” says Chris Yanez, Principal Planner for the Parks and Recreation Department, “and this workshop gives us the opportunity to discuss those concepts with the community.”
