AUSTIN (KXAN) - Friday was the last day of early voting in Texas.
About 37 percent of voters in Travis County showed up. The number was higher in Williamson County with 41 percent turnout. Burnet County had just about 36 percent of voters already at the polls.
In 2008, 153,000 people turned out to vote in the first week of early voting in Travis County. While this year around 117,000 were at the polls.
The presidential candidates have continued campaigning. Both, Obama and Romney are carrying the same message, get out and vote.
The last chance to cast your ballot will be Nov. 6, on election day. In Travis County, registered voters can vote from any of the polling locations .
