DKR memorial set for Tuesday

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Details regarding the public memorial Darrell Royal have been released.

To honor Royal's legacy, UT Athletics is hosting a public memorial at the Frank Erwin Center on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

The doors open at 10:30 a.m. and the public is asked to come through the arena-level doors. Seating is open throughout the arena and mezzanine. The program is scheduled to begin at noon.

Free parking will be offered to those attending the memorial service in the Trinity (TRG) and Manor (MAG) garages, as well as in surface lots 104 and 118. ADA parking is available in lot 118. A shuttle service will be provided from these parking locations to the Erwin Center entrances beginning at 10 a.m.

The event will be carried live on Longhorn Network, live-streamed on TexasSports.com and carried live on KVET AM 1300 The Zone.
