AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Austin Police Department has released video of an incident that led to an officer being suspended for seven days.

Officer Kevin DeLaRue was suspended in September for violating several department rules after a traffic stop on May 31st in the 9300 block of Quail Field Drive.

An investigation showed DeLaRue used profanity during a heated exchange with the female driver and then did not follow a supervisor's order to stop talking to that driver.

In the video, you can hear DeLaRue's conversation with the woman.
