AUSTIN (KXAN) - Hundreds of Austinites traipsed through the rain wearing their skivvies through downtown Austin Saturday.

The first-ever “ Cupid's Undie Run ” saw hundreds of race participants run a mile pants-less.

The run was aimed at raising funds for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. It’s part of a national “FUNdraising” run held the weekend before Valentine’s Day.

This year’s goal was to raise more than a million dollars nationwide for Neurofibromatosis research in support of the organization.

Neurofibromatosis causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, including the brain and spinal cord, affecting over two-million people worldwide.

Cupid's Undie Run is a nationally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit, operated by dozens of volunteers all over the United States.

This was Austin's inaugural Cupid's Undie Run, hosted by Molotov on West 6th St.
