Crews respond to scaffolding incident

EMS tends to person with medical condition

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin Fire Department and EMS crews responded to a scaffolding incident in West Campus Thursday morning after someone had a medical issue.

The rescue alarm came out at 9:19 a.m. at 505 W. 22nd St. That's near the San Antonio and Nueces streets intersection.

Crews worked to stabilize the person, who is now inside an ambulance. The person reportedly has a medical condition and did not fall from the scaffolding.

Crews cleared the scene around 9:45 a.m.
