IRVING, Texas (KXAN) - Irving Police have arrested a Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman they say was booked under suspicion of intoxication manslaughter and police say the person who died is his teammate.
KXAN sister station KXAS reports Irving police say Joshua Price Bent, 24, crashed in the 1400 block of State Highway 114 service road around 2:21 a.m. Saturday morning.
The teammate, Jerry Brown Jr., 25, was a passenger in the vehicle.
Irving police spokesman John Argumaniz said Brent was speeding when the vehicle hit a curb and flipped at least once.
Argumaniz says Brown was found unresponsive at the scene and pronounced dead at a hospital.
The Cowboys didn't immediately respond to an email request for comment.
