Congress stabbing sends man to hospital

Man hospitalized without life-threatening injuries

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Police are investigating a stabbing on Congress Avenue that sent a man to the hospital early Friday morning.

It happened in the 200 block of Congress Avenue at 7:13 a.m. when a woman stabbed the man. Police said both are homeless.

EMS crews took the man to University Medical Center Brackenridge without life-threatening injuries.

There is no suspect in custody, and Austin police continue to investigate.
