AUSTIN (KXAN) - With all the gift giving this week, there will be plenty of boxes and wrapping paper that will need to be recycled.
For City of Austin residents, no trash, recycling or yard trimmings will be collected on Christmas Day, Tuesday Dec. 25, or New Year's Day, Tuesday Jan. 1.
All collections scheduled on or after Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 will be picked up one day later. The regular collection schedule will resume Jan. 7, 2013.
