AUSTIN (KXAN) - Early voting for the General Election ends on Friday, and Capital Metro is making it a bit easier for voters who plan to wait to cast their votes on Tuesday by providing free rides to polling places on city buses, MetroRail and MetroAccess.

“Capital Metro looks forward to helping Central Texans cast their ballots again this election season,” said Capital Metro president/CEO Linda S. Watson. “We’ll get you to the polls safely and, the best part, absolutely free on Election Day.”

CapMetro route information can be found online , as can the locations for the polling places for each district via the Texas Secretary of State website.
