AUSTIN (KXAN) - Capital Metro is preparing a $274.4 million budget for the year that starts Oct. 1 and plans several workshops over the next month to gather public input.
The spending plan includes both capital projects and the day-to-day budget. The fare increases or service reductions are not planned.
“Capital Metro has proactively prepared for a fiscally difficult year,” said CapMetro President Linda Watson. “The proposed budget will position the agency favorably into the next year.”
