Body found with suspicious trauma

APD Homicide now investigating

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Around midnight, Nov. 10, police found a man dead in an alley, behind a business near North Lamar and Fairfield Drive.

According to police, the victim, a white man in his late 20s, had been beaten and his body showed signs of suspicious trauma. The actual cause of death is still being investigated.

APD was unable to provide the identity of the victim. Homicide detectives have now taken the lead on the case. KXAN will bring you more details as they are available.
