AUSTIN (KXAN) - A motorcyclist is awake and alert after being pinned under an SUV early Wednesday morning.

EMS crews took her to University Medical Center Brackenridge after having to pull her out of the wreckage at 1400 South Interstate 35 heading north.

All lanes heading north in the 2100 block of South I-35 near Oltorf Street were closed for some time, but that area has since reopened to traffic.
