AUSTIN (KXAN) - Hundreds of motorcyclists loaded their bikes up with toys and gifts to take to boys and girls at Helping Hand Home for Children .

This is the 24th year Austin Area motorcyclists have made this effort. This year there were so many gifts that some had to be loaded into a trailer to be delivered! Santa also showed up to help create the holiday spirit.

According to Ted Keyser from the Help Hand Home for Children, "You look around and you see the Austin area motorcyclists community supporting the children, it's pretty special. It's not just about the toys and it's not just about the bikes and the noises and sounds, which are awesome. It tells the kids that people care about them and I think that's what's most special about today."

Helping Hand Home cares for children as young as four-years old who were victims of severe neglect and abuse.
