AUSTIN (KXAN) - A man bicycling on Ranch Road 620 on Friday morning was taken to the hospital after crashing into a pickup truck near Hudson Bend.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office said the unidentified man was traveling in 3600 block of the highway when the accident occurred just after 10 a.m. Initial reports that an 18-wheeler was involved proved to be incorrect.

The man was said to be breathing but unresponsive.

The Texas Department of Public Safety will handle the investigation.
