AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin Police are looking for a man they say robbed a bank Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to a robbery at the Bank of America, located at 6403 Airport Boulevard shortly before 11:30 am.
According to witnesses the man entered the bank then displayed a note demanding cash. The suspect left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He’s described as an Asian male, 5’ 4” tall, weighing around 160 lbs and in his early 20s. Police say he also has dark hair and a slim build.
The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored beanie/skulll cap with a horizontal gray stripe near the bottom. In addition he was wearing a light shirt with a collar and a black windbreaker jacket.

This is the 18th bank robbery of 2012. At this time in 2011, there were 24 bank robberies.
