Austin ISD looks ahead to summer break

AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Austin school district is looking ahead to summer break.
For the second time, AISD will shut down on certain days throughout the summer.
The Austin-American Statesman reports the district saved $330,000 when it made the move last year so the district decided to do it again.
That means AISD offices will be closed on Fridays the last week of June and all of July.
