AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Austin Humane Society and EZ's Brick Oven Grill are teaming up for a weekly summer, after-work series called "Yappy Hour."
The event, launched Sunday, runs through Aug. 26 and offers full service to guests on EZ's patio with their pets.
The Austin Humane Society will also bring its Adoption Waggin' to the event, with animals ready to take home.
"You can't put a price tag on what bringing one home means," said Kelly Hanes, with the Austin Humane Society. "You get the affection for the rest of their lives, and it really enlightens your life."
If you adopt a pet on site, EZ's will thank you with a dinner for two -- up to $20. You can also drop your receipt in the humane society's box, and they will get 10 percent off the sales.
Yappy Hour is each Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
