AUSTIN (KXAN) - A man is in custody on $250,000 bond, charged with first-degree murder in the death of Kirsten Anderson, 41, whose body was found inside a home Thursday just after 5 p.m.
Austin Police Department arrested Christopher Roberts, 23, whom police identified as the victim's boyfriend. The charge is a first-degree felony.
Austin police were called to the 2600 block of Little John Lane on a welfare check. A man called 911 just before 5:30 p.m. and said he found his girlfriend unresponsive at the home.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
