APD investigating woman's death

Woman was found dead in South Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police are investigating a suspicious death in South Austin on Thursday night.

A man originally called 911 just before 5:30 p.m. because he found his girlfriend unresponsive at a home in the 2600 block of Little John Lane. 

While the investigation is still on-going, a homicide detective believes the woman's death is possibly suspicious.

APD is not releasing any other details at this time
