AUSTIN (KXAN) - A group of people in Austin had to be evacuated overnight at South Congress Avenue near Cumberland Road during a SWAT situation.

Some seven units at The Heights apartment complex were told to leave around 11 p.m. Monday while Austin police worked a standoff situation.

Officers called in the SWAT team when a woman barricaded herself inside her apartment.

It ended peacefully three hours later when the police took her into custody.
