AUSTIN (KXAN) - Remember the Alamo -- will soon move to an all-reserved-seating policy at its locations in Austin.

The theater change that populated dinner, drinks and a movie in a single location announced on its website Tuesday that the reserved-seat policy takes effect on Oct. 15.

"It is a system in which every seat in the theater is reserved with no upcharge," the Alamo Drafthose said in the blog post. "Whether you buy your tickets online or in person, you choose exactly the seats you want. Additionally we are adding the ability to hold adjacent seats when you buy."

The site said the theater chain tested the policy and sought feedback from its patron. You can still offer your two-cents worth by commenting online.
