AUSTIN (KXAN) - Police said Monday they found a man's body in South Austin.
Officers were first called to the 4900 block of South First Street around 8:30 a.m. for a water rescue.
When rescue crews arrived, they said the body was already dead in the creek.
Austin Police Department Homicide Unit officers will now take over the investigation.
