AUSTIN (KXAN) - On a day like today we could all use a story of hope.

KXAN Photojournalist Julie Karam has one for us tonight.

It’s the story of a special volunteer.

She’s a six-year-old girl who went into great lengths to help a family in need after Habitat for Humanity gave them a new home.
