AUSTIN (KXAN) - About 2,700 Austin Energy customers lost power just after 4 p.m. Friday in North Austin as a line of thundershowers moved through the area. Most customers had power restored by around 6.

The Windsor Hills neighborhood is mainly affected in the area east of Interstate 35 and north of East Rundberg Lane.

Austin Energy crews are assessing the damage.
